Ngorongoro Highland

Shira Route

The Shira Route it runs parallel to the Lemosho trail at the beginning but starts much higher up. The Shira Route meets up with the Machame Route at Shira 2 Camp. It is also known as the original Londorosi trail where registration is done at Londorosi gate followed by driving to an elevation of 3720m from here you will now start your trekking.

Rongai Route

This route starts from the Northern side of the mountain, along Tanzania and Kenya border, it offers great opportunities of seeing wildlife compare to other routes. There’s several variations of this route beginning with minimum 5 days to 7 days including of acclimatization day. It is an alternative route to Marangu route for those who are looking for least crowded trail.

Lemosho Route

Lemosho route recognized as one of the Londorosi route crosses over the collapsed volcanic crater known as Shira Plateau. A minimum of 7 days to attempt this route however we recommend 8 days in order to have extra day for acclimatization and summit success. The trail connect to Machame route at Shira 2 Camp and then follows the same route through the southern circuit and descending at Mweka Gate.

Northern circuit Route

Is the new route which starts from Londorosi gate, it’s among of the best trail that allows client time for acclimatization due to number of days spend on trek. With a high success rate, incredible varied scenery and a very low number of visitors, the Northern Circuit route is certainly one of the best routes on Kilimanjaro.

Umbwe Route

The Umbwe Route is less crowded route on the mountain, it is also the most difficult route on the mountain. This route should only be attempted by those who are very strong and are confident in their ability to acclimatize.

Marangu Route

One of the oldest, well established route which is also known as the "Coca-Cola" route, the Marangu route is a classic trek as it is considered to be the easiest trail on the mountain. It is also the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations from Mandara – Kibo. The minimum days needed for this route is five although the probability of successfully reaching to the top is quite low so we can recommend to add an extra day for acclimatization.

Machame Route

The Machame Route is known as the “Whiskey Route”, is the second most popular route on the mountain. The Machame route is considered as a tough trail though its suit those who are more adventurous, the minimum days recommended is 6 days but extending to 7 days with acclimatization day which makes more sense with ability to reach the summit.

Mount Meru

Is the second highest peak in Tanzania which located inside Arusha National Park approximately 1 hour drive from Arusha city. The trail normally have various wild animals therefore you will need an armed ranger who will accompany you throughout the trekking. It may take 3 days to reach to summit though you can add extra day for great accessibility.
